There’s no single “best” way—your ideal approach depends on your budget, technical skills, and whether you’re a solo agent or a large brokerage.
1. Manual Embedding
The simplest method is embedding individual listings directly. LoopNet lets you generate shareable links or embed snippets for listings. You can paste this code into your WordPress post or page via the HTML block.
- Pros: Free, quick to set up, no plugins required.
- Cons: Time-consuming if you have multiple properties; listings won’t update automatically.
This method works well if you only showcase a handful of properties.
2. iFrame Integration
Another approach is embedding via <iframe> code. With this, you can display an entire LoopNet listing page inside your site.
- Pros: Easy setup, displays full property details.
- Cons: Poor for SEO, not always responsive, requires manual adjustments.
Pro tip: Use CSS to make iFrames responsive, so mobile visitors don’t struggle with awkward layouts.
3. LoopLink (For Brokers/Enterprises)
If you’re a broker with many listings, LoopNet offers LoopLink, a paid service that syndicates your listings onto your own website. It automatically updates properties, maintains branding, and integrates seamlessly.
- Pros: Professional, automated, no manual work.
- Cons: Premium pricing, typically for larger agencies.
For firms managing dozens of listings, LoopLink is worth considering.
4. Third-Party WordPress Plugins
Since LoopNet doesn’t offer a native plugin, you can use real estate plugins like:
- RealEstate Pro
- Estatik
- WP-Property
- Realtyna
These plugins don’t pull data directly from LoopNet but let you build a professional property database on your site. You can manually add LoopNet listings to maintain design control.
5. Automated Import via Feeds (XML/CSV/RSS)
If your CRM or MLS provides property feeds, you can use WP All Import or similar tools to import data into custom post types on WordPress.
- Pros: Automates updates, scalable, SEO-friendly.
- Cons: Requires feed access; LoopNet doesn’t natively provide this, so you’ll need a syndication partner.
This is the closest you’ll get to a “hands-off” integration without LoopLink.
